Kickboxing
Kickboxing will be every Thursday from 7:15-8:15 P.M. and every Saturday from 10:00-11:00 A.M. from September 14 to November 16.

Mix up your routine with flexibility and strength-building moves. While based on various forms of martial arts, this class will teach you the basics of kicking and punching. You will learn proper form and techniques, building combinations using sequences of punches, kicks, knees, and elbows to help you develop the foundations of kickboxing. Come experience a full-body workout that challenges all major muscle groups while improving aerobic capacity, decreasing stress, improving focus and boosting endurance.

Classes run every Thursday and Saturday from September 14 through November 16.
There will be no class on October 7 due to fall break.

Thursday classes are from 7:15-8:15pm and Saturday classes are from 10:00-11:00am.
Registration includes attendance at both of these times.

Prices for this instructional class are as follows:

  • $50 for SIU students
  • $55 for Rec Center members
  • $60 for non-members (community)
