Welcome to the Student Recreation Center. The Student Recreation Center (SRC) is a 214,000 square foot facility located on Grand Avenue across the street from East Campus residence halls. It houses a wide array of facilities and fitness equipment. Our staff is dedicated to making your event run smoothly and be enjoyable.

Southern Illinois University Carbondale Recreational Sports and Services staff will determine which rate criteria you are eligible for based on information provided through the Rec Reservation Request form and discussion of the event.

Additional charges may apply for any staffing, equipment, setups, and cleaning.
