SIU Student

Students enrolled in at least 6 credit hours of on-campus classes for Fall and Spring Semesters and 3 credit hours of on-campus classes for Summer are charged the General Student Fee, which includes the use of the SIU Student Recreation Center. 

Students enrolled in only online classes for the current semester are charged the General Student Off-Campus fee, which does not include use of the Rec Center.

Students who do not meet the minimum on-campus class requirements listed above can elect to purchase a semester membership at Member Services located on the lower level of the Student Recreation Center.

Price for children of students

ATTENTION: Misuse of IDs, including using another patron's login information for the Rec Center App, to gain facility access is considered fraud. Campus Recreation staff will confiscate misused, expired, or invalid cards and misuse of IDs may result in loss of membership privileges. Only the person listed on the membership ID card can use it. Replacement card cost is $15.

Locker Service

If you would like to keep your belongings secure for more than one day at a time, you can rent a locker on a semester or annual basis.
